Open Garden at Moat’s Corner

Where: 415 White Hill Road, Dromana

Entry: Adults $8, Students $5, Under 18 free

One of our valued volunteers, Alison Swift, is opening her beautiful garden at Moats’ Corner to the public as part of Open Gardens Victoria. This garden was the passion of Jean Duncan, who first established it in 1950. Today it is a wonderful mix of old and new. Paths weave under pergolas, arches, arbors and gazebos, past a 130-year-old Cypress driveway, along with 400 roses that will be an absolute delight in November. There are numerous themed gardens set around a stunning new home to explore. You will find the Japanese garden, Sunken Rose garden, the White Garden, and a lake fringed with yellow water iris, inspired by the works of Monet.

Check out the Open Gardens Victoria website.

Alison and her family have elected to donate their share of the gate takings to Groomed to Go – we are extremely grateful for their generosity and consideration! Join us on the day to see this magnificent garden!
