On 15 January 2020, from 5 pm to 6 pm, we are having a volunteer expo hour at 25 Ross Smith Avenue for anyone interested in joining our organisation, plus a contract signing hour for our current volunteers. This a chance for some to see what areas of volunteering that may interest you and to sign up as a member.

Volunteers make it possible for Groomed to Go to empower hundreds of people each year on their path to financial independence. Our volunteers look to connect and inspire each client on their journey to self-sufficiency. We offer numerous opportunities to showcase your skills and help others including opportunities in the following  areas. As you know, we service both men and women.

  • Mentoring our clients
  • Volunteer management
  • Admin support
  • IT Support
  • Database support
  • Helping with events
  • Fundraising and grants
  • Engaging with client agencies
  • Workshops and training
  • Stock management
  • Retail in our shop
  • Marketing and media

Information sessions are held regularly throughout the year to outline our organisation’s mission, and the crucial role that our volunteers play. Sessions are generally held monthly on Monday at our two locations:

Frankston: 25 Ross Smith Avenue East, Frankston (near the Bayside Food Court exit) from 11 am to 12 noon

Dandenong:  Chisholm Institute, 311 Lonsdale Street, Dandenong from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm
