Volunteer

Volunteers make it possible for Groomed to Go to empower hundreds of people each year on their path to financial independence. From dressing clients, to instructors to mentors, the personal touch added by our volunteers is often the connection that each client needs to become inspired along the path to self-sufficiency. As well as dressing and mentoring, we welcome volunteers to assist in the office, keep in touch with referral agencies, run our many workshops, support our sale days, help with communications or marketing, or with grant writing and fundraising. There are many opportunities to use your skills to help others.

Interested in becoming involved as a volunteer with Groomed to Go?  With the opening of our two exciting new premises, dressing both women and men, we have a number of opportunities for you to become involved.

We also hold Information Sessions throughout the year. These are run from 25 Ross Smith Avenue East, Frankston (near the Bayside Food Court exit). Each session runs for an hour, and allows you to become more informed about who we are and what we do, and the various types of volunteer roles available to you. Booking is essential. The next session is Friday 21  June 2019 at 11 am. To register your interest to attend an information session please email volunteering@groomedtogo.org.
